World Lacrosse Wrap Up: Team Israel, Czech Republic

Tune in today 11am MST/1pm EST/7pm CET for World Lacrosse Wrap-Up with Ryan Wallace on Lacrosse Talk Radio! Each week we’ll bring you news, stories and tips from #lacrosse coaches around the world working to #GrowtheGame.

We’re joined in the first half of today’s show by Jake Silberlicht from Israel Lacrosse and the Israeli National Team. Originally from upstate New York, Jake played DI lacrosse at Hobart before traveling to Australia to coach and play. He then joined the Israel National Team program, where he has lived for the last 6 years, and played in the 2014 World Championships, 2016 European Championships, and the 2017 European Box Lacrosse Championships. We’ll be discussing the role of Israel Lacrosse in developing and growing the game with kids all over Israel.

Pavel Dosly from the Czech National Team and Jizni Mesto in Prague joins us for the second half of today’s show. He’s played for the same club since he was 12 years old, and now coaches box and field lacrosse to the next generation of players. He’s been on the Czech Field or Box National Team for the last 20 years, and brings tons of experience with him to the game. We’ll talk to him about Box and Field Youth Lacrosse in the Czech Republic, and how Czech players get so dang good. Join us!
