WSYL Preview: The Predictions

The World Series of Youth Lacrosse is just over a week away.  Today Andrew Onodera has the fifth of a five part series previewing this year’s event taking place July 2nd through the 4th at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park, northeast of Denver, Colorado.

After researching all 24 teams and writing division-by-division previews, Andrew Onodera is ready to share his predictions for the 2017 World Series of Youth Lacrosse. Here are the two teams that will advance out of each division, as well as the projected champion.

WSYL Preview: Gold Division is Stacked with Talent

The World Series of Youth Lacrosse is just over a week away.  Today Andrew Onodera has the fourth of a five part series previewing this year’s event taking place July 2nd through the 4th at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park, northeast of Denver, Colorado.

The Gold Division will prove to be the most competitive division at this year’s tournament. The division has three teams ranked in the Top-10 across the world and two teams named to the watch list. In fact only one team in this division was not either ranked or named to the Inside Lacrosse watch list.

WSYL Preview: White Division Has Four Teams With Something to Prove

The World Series of Youth Lacrosse is just over a week away.  Today Andrew Onodera has the third of a five part series previewing this years event taking place July 2nd through the 4th at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park, northeast of Denver, Colorado.

At first glance, it may seem like the White Division has two clear front-runners that will advance to the knockout round. However, four teams in this bracket are ready to prove that they have what it takes to make it all the way to the championship, and they’re willing to beat whoever is placed in front of them to get there.

WSYL Preview: Red Division Shows how much WSYL has Grown

The World Series of Youth Lacrosse is just over a week away.  Today Andrew Onodera has the second of a five part series previewing this years event taking place July 2nd through the 4th at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park, northeast of Denver, Colorado.

One of the best parts about the 2017 World Series of Youth Lacrosse is its diversity. After a few years of waiting, we finally have a tournament that truly pulls teams from all across the nation, and around the world. No division represents this shift more than the Red Division.
